INTRODUCTION
Wahat Al-Janoob Company for plastic pipes
Wahat Al-Janoob Company started working in 2023 as the first company producing plastic pipes in Iraq, after obtaining investment license No. (549) dated 25/1/2023 issued by the Iraqi Investment Authority.
We produce a wide range of pipes and fittings (Fittings, PPR, LDPE, HDPE, UPVC) using the finest raw materials, the latest international machinery, and qualified staff — so our products reach a high level of quality in accordance with international and national standards.
The factory holds the ISO 9001:2015 quality-management certificate, was built on an area of 30 dunums, and is located in Baghdad governorate.
OUR PRODUCTS
Plastic pipes for every application
UPVC Pipes & Fittings
UPVC pipes and fittings for drinking water, pressure and electrical lines, with two socket types: solvent-cement socket and rubber-ring socket (U-type and V-type).
Polyethylene Pipes
HDPE and LDPE pipes for water, gas, chemical-waste, cable and irrigation networks, with a service life of up to 50 years and UV resistance — no covering required.
Well Casing & Screen Pipes
UPVC casing and screen pipes for water-well extraction and filtration — about 50% lighter and more economical than steel, easier to transport and install, and non-reactive with water.
PPR Pipes & Fittings
Polypropylene pipes and fittings in three colours (green, white, grey) — the best choice for hot and cold drinking-water networks, resisting heat and pressure.
QUALITY CONTROL
An in-house lab that tests every product
We operate a dedicated quality-control department and an advanced laboratory equipped with the latest instruments and specialist staff. Raw materials are tested before production, and every finished product passes rigorous checks before it reaches the market.
Testing follows the newest ISO, DIN, BS and ASTM standards as well as Iraqi national standards, with continuous dimensional and visual inspection throughout production.
